Hi guys.
Iv'e been lurking round here for quite some time now admiring all your photoghraphs and constantly scanning to see chim girls latest photos with her 300D (no i'm not a stalker, ). I have an Olympus z3020c which is allright and i really want to use it properly now as it lets you dial in some things manually- aperture, "f"no. thingy and one or two other things. I really enjoy looking round PBase at the huge range of peoples photoghraphs and reviews and wondered if there were any other websites you guys might suggest, whether they be magazine based or review based or just helpfull to a beginer like me.
Thanks
Ian
P.S
Get Carter, your photos are magical! and that music, well i live in se6 where can i get a compilation album?. I particularly like the gypsy theme.

Stalker!

Are you going to share some of your pics?

I've just borrowed a selection of 'L' lenses and converters, should have some pics to post later this week. (Assuming it stops snowing/raining!)

Aperture and f-number are the same thing! (High f-no = small aperture). The other thing you need to balance this out is shutter speed, ie as you decrease the aperture, the shutter speed gets longer to compensate and still give the correct exposure. You juggle one against the other depending on the effect you want. Peasy!

Thanks guys
I'm rather proud of this one.
It was taken through the net curtains in my bedroom of a fox ( obviousely ) that had just caught and killed this rat in my back garden. Not that we have a problem with rats . Lucky shot really
I have several shots of it afterwards with said Rat in variouse states of consumption by our mate Basil here.

"don't eat me please mr fox"
