Not as dedicated with water compared to .Mark but standing out in the rain and sleet was good enough for me this afternoon

I tried out the manual settings on my cam for the first time instead of leaving it on auto and I'm really pleased with the results.....

Are they working, all the HTML has gone mad for me and I can't see them in the post, when I preview the post I can however

How come they worked first time, but they're not working now, what did you do differently?

What if type them?

[pic] url [/pic] although i'm sure you obviously already know that.

Not a clue why they worked first time and didn't work again, the HTML was no different.

The [pic] commands wouldn't work with what I was trying to which was to have the pictures as links so I had to do it in HTML.

Thanks MrsF

There was a really nice picture I thought I took but when I looked at it on the computer it had a massive rain blob in the centre of the lens

Oh well.

Some nice shots there Graham, congrats.

If you use a bit more compression you can get the files much smaller that 350K each and you won't notice the difference on screen. Bearing in mind many people use dial-up, 100Kb is a more workable size IMHO.

OOh, didn't realise they were that big.

I'll have a play around and see if I can compress them some more.

Can't offer any technical comments as I'm very much a beginner. For what my opinion is worth I think they're lovely pics, well done that man, take a bow!

Good shots Graham, although if it doesn't take >2 hours for your camera to dry out and over 3 days for your shoes to dry you really aren't trying mate.

Couldn't have a hi-res copy of the sun on the hillside could I?
