Hi all

Ive had my Pentax K100d for about 3 years now and have found it really easy to use and it produces more than adequate pics for what I want it for.

The problem is that it now will not turn on!
even when I put new batteries in it, both rechargeable and normal AA the indicator shows a depleted battery sign on the LCD.

Anyone got any suggestions?

It may be an excuse to buy a new camera, but I really do like the Pentax!

I've got a couple of Pentax k100's and had no probs so far. There is not much support from pentax though from what I have heard and you may need to find an independant service agent. Had a look at the new K7 though and that is nice, more professional and a bit more expensive. You would save money by going body only though as you probably have the lenses already. As far as I know they are still available from Park cameras and London Camera Exchange. I find the Pentax programming for shooting in RAW really easy. Good luck
