Use IMG code but replace the 'IMG' with 'pic' when you post it here.

EDIT: Actually, you don't have to use 'pic'. Just copy & paste the IMG code

Cue: pussy jokes.....

And that aside, hit the "quote" button above a post any time you are unsure what someone has done and you will be able to see. As an example I changed your "IMG" to "thumb" at each end of your url. Useful when quoting someone's picture(s) without swamping a page!

Looks nice.

For the finishing touch, all you need to do is resize to 750px wide before uploading - partly so it loads faster for viewers, and partly so the final appearance is up to you and not left to the PH Auto-compressing machine smile

As Simpo says, resize to 750px on the longest side for this forum. Otherwise it'll resize it for you and you lose sharpness.

Also I'd stay clear of photobucket. They use way too much JPEG compression for my liking and it can soften some shots. Flickr seems pretty decent in that respect.

Cat shot above is great! cool

Hi and thanks for the assistance

when i saved the photo in elements i saved for web and did 750 width and it auto did the other size about 582

i then uploaded to photo (to photobucket) and put on this thread

how can the piccy size change from uploaded the correct size to being displayed in pistonheads incorrectly

regards

ps should i have used flicker instead of photobucket

Going back to the cat pic, I like the way the front and rear paws are exactly the same disatnce away from the fence, but this symmetry is made less obvious by the cluttered background. Squatting down to line the cat up with the green tree and sky above would have made a cleaner image IMHO.

Hi

to be honest i only had the camera about 3 days before i took that piccy. just happened to be there when he was walking along the fence. being brutal i dont really know a lot about picture taking but a bit of practice i hope to chage that.

i just pointed and pressed button and was suprised i got him level both sides just a fluke

In which case, good effort smile Next is to take into account the rest of the frame - a bit of movement left/right/up/down can make all the difference - composition and all that!
