Hi guys..

It's my friends birthday coming up, and she's been considering buying brown contact lenses - as she's always wanted brown eyes. It would be a lovely surprise for her if I could manipulate a photo of her to show her what she looks like with brown eyes, before she goes out and spends the money on them.

I don't have photoshop, and if she saw my horrific attempts with Mspaint, she's never speak to me again. I wonder if anyone would be able to do this on a photo of her as a favour for me? I'd post pics here, but I've seen what you guys can do - hah, and whilst impressive, I don't really feel comfortable posting pictures of her online.

Would anyone feel generous enough to spare a few minutes to do this for me? I'd be very grateful, and you'll make my friend very very happy! smile

I can do it for you, but not until very late this evening? I'm sure others will come along shortly.

Brown eyes are quite easy. Trying to get blue/green eyes from a brown start is a bit more difficult.

Here's a before and after that will give you an idea of how effective it can be.

Depending on the original eye colour, 10 seconds in paintshop with the selection and hue tools can change the eyes to various colours..

If it's a gaudy effect you are after, then yes it's a 10 second job. I would humbly suggest that it takes a little longer if you want to retain the detail in the iris.

Absolutely. I just used some extreme colours to show what a quick adjust would/could do.If the original image needed high levels of detail, hue adjust could start having some odd effects on other colours in the eye.For an average sized picture, however, it's a quick way to change the look and the level of detail doesn't change, it's just the main colour which is altered.I think they call it cheating tongue out
