Hi All,

Can anyone recommend an alternative to photobox please?

Not looking for better quality or cheaper (although that is always good!) as such just a decent reputable alernative.

Cheers.

For printing, for hosting shots for others to order prints or just for sharing?

Snapfish came top of a recent gadget show review. They were offering 20 free 6x4 prints recently (0.99p postage the only extra) for signing up with them, not sure if they still are.

Sorry should have been more explicit - to do a few prints - hosting not required. Quantity less than 100.

I'll take a look at snapfish. Thanks.

I wanted some pictures at short notice recently - Boots were better than I expected.

However the place I used today - CLick or something?? in Merry Hill (dudley) produced a selection of prints of such variable quality that I was reminded of my first darkroom efforts.

Seriously bad... strange colours, loss of sharpness etc.....

Register with Topcashback and you get a percentage of your printing spend back.

I spent £10 with Foto.com, got good results and a massive £2.81 back.

For recent printing I used Tescophoto.com. One hour service and pickup at my local store is 15p a picture for 6x4s or 20p for 7x5s.

I prefer Photobox personally, but they were ideal when the postal service was playing up due to the snow IMHO smile

They offer 40 or so free prints to start you off to see if it works out for you smile

I've used Snapfish, Kodak Gallery, and Bonusprint. The quality of prints were good but service and speed were nothing like Photobox.

Thanks for all the suggestions - will give Snapfish a try later this evening.

Whilst photobox was quick and good quality I won't be using them after my most recent experience(!)

I normally use photobox for speed and qaulity. The OH normally uses snapfish beacuse she always has and doesn't like change rolleyes

We printed out our holiday snaps with sanpfish and i got some enlargements of our favourites through photobox. I was suprised how better photobox was for colour representation. IMHO photobox beat snapfish hands down

Quality and speed of delivery were not the problem with Photobox but there is no way I'll be using them again.

Photos have been ordered with snapfish - fingers crossed they turn out ok. The snapfish website was basic but did the job with no problems.
