Question for someone thick

I've just got a new camera and thought I would post a few pics. When I try and upload an image it says it is too big, way over ther 2MB limit. What can I do to make it fit?

Resize it!

I'm guessing you're using the thumbsnap thingy? The other option is to host it somewhere (Photobucket, Flickr, Imageshack etc) and use the IMG tags to display it on here. It's generally preferred to keep it under 750 pixels on longest side

Well I was going to help until you called me thick. Sod ya :P

erm, just resize it. You can do this a number of ways, if it's a mahoosive picture and you're in a hurry just open it in ms paint, then save it as a jpeg and you'll find most of the time the size is massively reduced. You can also resize the picture to make it more screen friendly, realistically you don't need a picture more than 1024x728, so chopping them down to that size helps too.
