adobe elements download

[saaby93]

I'm sure you get this free with many cameras
Is there a download available somewhere?

[beano500]

Yup - it's often packaged up with digital cameras I guess.

A download or free trial available at the official site

Already found that
It times out after a month, so not really long enough to play with
A mate is looking for the fully free version probably an earlier one that comes with the camera or stuck to a photographic magazine

I assume you're talking about Photoshop Elements? If so, there is no free version, other than the one month trial. If you get one with a camera or magazine, that's because the camera manufacturer or the publisher has paid for the licence.

Of course, you can download it using a file sharing service, but it will be unlicensed and therefore illegal.
