Lens cover sticking

Hi need a bit of help. I have a Pentax Optio S4 and the lens cover seems to be sticking. When i turn the camera on the lens doesn't doesn't withdraw into the lens frame as quick as it did. Only thing i can think of is that when i took it out to a party during new year. Some of the cocktail drink splash onto the cover and then got into the mechnism (crap spelling) that allows the cover to open and close. Anyone know where i can get this cleaned or know what i can get to clean it?
