Which video camera

As a bit of change from all the what car topics I'm looking for a video camera but I haven't got a clue what I'm looking at.
It's just for general use so it doesn't need to be anything fancy, the budget is £200-£300 and I'd like it to record to card rather than hard disc's or tapes. I see 32gb cards are available now are these recommended or would I be better off with 8/16gb cards?
I assume none of them come with a case so if anyone knows what case to get that would be good too.
To start the ball rolling I've seen this http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B001P30D0... it seems to get decent reviews but does anyone if it is any good or know of anything that would be better?
