Hi,

I have stiched together a rather good panoramic shot with the software that came with my canon ixus digital.

There are about 12 shots that make up the overall picture, problem is I can't figure out how to print it as it's not a standard size. Do I have to split it into seperate standard size prints? How do I do this?

Cheers

These guys are the best I've used. You get panos done easily and pay by the inch

Epson 950i will print panoramic. If you use the continuous paper option (with rolls of Epson photo paper) you can define the size you want.

If you are not printing yourself try Photobox
www.photobox.co.uk
I have used them a couple of times and the quality of printing is great. They have good quality printing kit far superior to naything we can realistically have at home.

Panoramics can be printed up to 20" by 8" (approx 51cms by 21cms) for £7.50. Whilst you might think this is a lot, some professional labs will try and charge you anything up to £5 just for opening your CD on their PC. Needless to say I don't use these any more.

I got MGI PhotoVista free with my scanner - for kids really but it does a panorama OK. The software that came with my digital camera (Camedia) also does it.

Comes as standard with Photoshop Elements 2,it's the Photomerge tool.

There's a website good for all things panoramic, think the link is
www.panoguide.com
. This used to have reviews and recommendations of programmes, some of which were free.

Can't verify it's still working as nanny filter at work now blocks it. God forbid they ever block PH
