In the Market for a 7D - look inside.

[Pixel-Snapper]

Ive been pointed in the direction of this voucher codes website that has £120 off the price of either:

7D body only

7D with 18-75mm kit

7D with 28-135mm kit

And with Jacobs being the cheapest place ive found the body at so far at £1299 when I was in the shop last friday that makes it a blummin good price I feel.

scroll about half way down the page and bobs ya mother's brother.

Think I might be buying myself a christmas present.

No need to thank me tis what we do us PHers.

Are you sure it doesn't exclude bodies and lenses? Jacobs ones usually do.

£1249

http://www.mifsuds.com/acatalog/SLR_Cameras.html
£1279

Or call them - you are more likely to get a discount if you are buying extras that they have some margin to play with - eg, new batteries? Fairly low margin on the non-pro cameras; they are increasingly viewed as a commodity.

Arrrrr my bad people in the excitment of finding the deal I seem to have over looked the fact that it says the offer expired End Date: 09/11/2009

Bugger............

Whats people's thoughts will the price come down after christmas? the nearest ive found the 50D to be is £715 so still a good difference between the two.

Long term, they will only ever come down in price, but there is rarely a "perfect" time to buy... prices come down, new models rumored, then prices fall, then new model announced that has everything you ever wanted, but at a high price...

So they are coming down then but at what price will they bottem out?

[paul911]

It was £1190 last week, so maybe the price has bottomed out! The price increase (from last week) could be Christmas rush though.
