November 09 Photo Competition - Results!

Wow, tough month to judge! Not a huge number of entries but the standard was as high as ever and the decision was made all the more difficult by a few late entries!

As soon as I saw this one I knew it would be hard to beat (although the ones above certainly ran it close in the end). I love the lighting, the colours in the sky and the sentiment of the photograph fitted the brief perfectly.

Congratulations Lee, a worthy winner. Over to you for December!

Wow I am over the moon. My first win in photography and with the standard of people on here, it means a lot. A good standard as always and and some terrific shots.

well done curtisl and thanks for the 3rd place dogsey. I cheated in so much that I took that earlier this year. It was in the only remaining old BR workshop at the Swindon outlet village. Alas it is now being turned into a new mall for the centre so I guess thats the last shot of it (unless I can get back in)

Beautiful images. A tough theme, one that has been realised imaginatively and powerfully. I think the winning shot is particularly well achieved.
