Olympus Camedia help

Hi,

I have loaded the software onto my computer but whenever I try and attach the camera via usb the computer doesnt find the camera.

The light on the camera comes on when its plugged into the computer.

The camera is a mju300

Any ideas whats wrong

Have you turned the camera on when it's plugged in or are you just connecting the USB cable and expecting it to connect?

It may just be charging when the light comes on.

It doesnt matter if the camera is on, as soon as I plug the usb in the camera switches off and the orange light comes on

OK, forget the Camedia software and just browse your way to the image files via My Computer - then copy and paste to a new folder, or drag and drop to a folder on the desktop. Make sure the camera is fully charged.

I had a Mju300 and it worked fine that way.
