Does anyone use camera shops any more..? smile

I am coming back to UK for Christmas and I wouldn't mind stocking up on a few new bits for the D80, particularly a 60mm macro lens (unless there is something better these days), flash unit and new back pack.

Any suggestions for a good shop to browse (I would prefer a proper place to online, even though I may end up paying more...). I will be based in Bedfordshire/ London, but may also find myself in such diverse places as Cardiff, near Birmingham (Wolverhampton) and Bristol.

Thanks

You know how you felt when you were six years old and you were allowed to go in the sweet shop? Well try downstairs in Grays. You can try looking on line, but I expect your ISP/work won't allow Photographic pornography of that calibre through.....

Are you coming into partnership? With a bit of luck, breaking open the Piggy Bank and getting some aide from the Central Bank of the UAE I mght be able to scrape together enough for the fish eye lens, I suppose. Well, maybe a deposit for it anyway, and perhaps they would chuck the tripod it's standing on for free. You'd just have to back me for the rest.

Dandy's of Westminster would be even better. (Am I showing my age again?)

They might be deeply in debt and you could snap them up for £1...!

NB They appear to be in Pimlico, not Westminster, but then to me London is the big scary place to the left of Liverpool Street...

Dandy's of Westminster might be more appropriate if you've met Mr Levitt
