Anyone able to convert Digital 8 to MiniDV tape?

My usual chap is too snowed under to do this.

One of the Surrey Runners used Digital 8 media to record the action, but I need it on miniDV. Is anyone in the right industry able to convert this as a favour?

I need 2 copies making. Anyone?

Hi Luca.

I'm not sure about this, but has your camera got DVin/out(unless this is just a Sony option). Cant you connect out of his camera into your DVin/out. You can copy back into your camera with the DVin part of the socket. As I said..might be talking rubbish. You might also need a special lead.

Unfortunately I don't have a camera myself, and don't have access to the Digital 8 camera either. Need someone who works in a big editing suite, where they do this stuff all day long.
