One thing I find digital photography very good for is capturing light, eg nature, backlit leaves etc. I don't know about you guys but I quickly get tired of 'conventional' photos for wallpaper, ie a car etc. I prefer something that's more textural without traditional composition. This is my current beastie:

Anyone else tried this?

I use a program from www.wallpaperchanger.de/ which cycles through a list of pictures and changes your wallpaper as often as you want.

However, most of my backgrounds are pics I've taken of..... cars

At the moment I am using wallpaper made up from images from the Hubble telescope lifted from here.
