Afternoon all,

I wasn't too sure where to put this thread but i guess this is the best place. I am looking to purchase my first telescope (£200 ish) i would like to be able to attach my 350D if possible (is that possible???)

Anyway hopefully you will be able to give me some advice on what to look for.

Thanks in advance.

Jordan

Highly recommend these guys. I ended up spending LESS with them from their advice

thanks,

what about:

Sky-Watcher EXPLORER-150 (EQ3-2) 150mm (6") f/750 Parabolic Newtonian Reflector?

It has direct SLR connectivity

I have always known Telescope House to be by far the best place to get advice and buy anything astronomical:

What I started with. Pretty good, you'll need a t-mount for you camera and a RA motor. EQ3-2 is a bit lightweight (though better than most things at this price range). Ideally you want something with an EQ5 at least, but the explorer 150 is a good place to start.
