I have a number of JPG files which I want to make into a collage to print.

Which software, preferably free, can I use to make this into one large JPG file?

It is very easy in Picasa which is a free download from Google, sample attached you can move the images around it is very flexible.

I tried that last night - It worked, but was a ballache and looks pretty crap if I'm honest.

Microsofts AutoCollage is pretty clever.

Free to trial.

Free to educators ..... well aren't we all educators of some nature ????

As I already had it installed, i used paint.net - Probably not the easiset way to do it, but I just made a new layer for each image.
