Just been in it, UNBELIEVABLY HUGE eek

28 tills just for the camera section, with Canon, Nikon, Sony etc all having there on dedicated departments.

bought an amazing tripod for $50 with a great gun type handle with a trigger for adjustment great quality to smile

If your in New York? well worth a gander smile

Personally I prefer Akihabara, just for the sheer Japanese mentalness of it all.

Not to knock BH, but it is a little tame, relatively speaking.

I visited yesterday. The conveyor belt thing is quite amazing, along with the numbers of staff working there!

A word of advice for anyone visiting NYC and thinking of going to B&H.

The company is owned by a Jewish family and they close for Jewish holidays without exception. They also close at 2pm on Friday and are closed all day Saturday.

My gear came from there a couple of years ago. Reserved on line and then just picked it up. Exchange rate was better then, just over half uk price.

Blimey, it's amazing Jews can make so much money if they spend so long praying! 'Work hard pray hard' I guess!
