I'll be at Airbus in Broughton - flypast there is in aid of the Family Day (my son is an Airbus apprentice).

I didn't realise there was a family day @ Broughton too - will there be the usual display?

A comparison from my back garden. Both taken at the same zoom (400mm), and not cropped.

A "little" fly-be (no idea of model, not up on my planes)

The A380 eek

Shame I've got home from Birmingham so early else I would have kept an eye out, on the plus side though I saw a Vulcan while driving on the M42 earlier biggrin anyone got any idea what it was doing today? Something Cosford way maybe?

The Vulcan was at Broughton (Chester)minutes before the A380 today. The Vulcan's a noisy bleeder.

Yep, it is mahoosive.... was on the M25 when one took off right over the top of us... it makes the 747 look pitifully small!

Looks even more impressive on the inside - there's a bar upstairs that you can spend time at rather than sit in your seat for the whole journey.:

Taken on my trip to Dubai earlier this year.
