I've finally finished going through the thousand of shots I got at Bonneville this year.

I thought you might like to see a small selection.....

All good thanks Woza - wish I could say I was glad to be back !

Currently scartching my head over my uploaded images - colours are different, an they've lost all their sharpness. I use Photobucket. Does anyone out there have any suggestions ?

Are you using the upload function to resize them? If so, maybe try doing the resize yourself. Even then, you may need to sharpen them before uploading.

Alternatively, a lot of people seem to recommend Flickr. Or could you use the webspace that your website is on to host them?

You lucky, lucky barsteward, I'd love to go there one day. Great pics, there's something about that place, the light or all that salt, that seems to make for fantastic photos. Do you have to do anything special to visit during speed week or just turn up?

Yes, I'm resizing and sharpening them myself.

I have a Flickr account, but can't see the URL / code I'd need to upload the image to another site.

Tim, click on 'All Sizes' above the photo, then click on 'medium size' as the best sizing for webpages. Scroll down below the photo and on No 2 - Grab the URL, click inside the box and copy the URL then on a thread such as this use the normal [pic] paste your URL[/pic]

If it's for embedding in another webpage then you need to use option 1 and copy the full HTML

Love these two.

IMHO there is somehting just exceptionally cool with the second car. I know it's just a look on the outside of good engineering but still looks ace in that particular location.

Its about 100 degrees out on the salt usually, but no shade.

The first time I went, the Press Office told me to wear tight underwear under my shorts - the sun hits the salt, and gets reflected upwards, with potentially catastrophic results !

Superb shots, I like how you've portrayed some of the solitude of the flats - the silence nearly drove me mad in Black Rock.

Guess those edits is you getting your colour/ brightness issues sorted cos they look spot on to me.
