Sigma 10-20mm Canon
Discussion
There is a new f3.5 model. Whether it's meant to replace the original or sell alongside it I'm not sure.
Some examples of the old lens are in the wiki at the top of the forum.

I’ve had mine for over 12 months now, purchased through Kerso (do a search on PH)
Try: http://www.warehouseexpress.com/buy-sigma-10-20mm-...
Edit: cheaper at http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0007U00X...

A good 80% of my pics are taken with the Sigma 10-20mm. Have a mooch through the “Random photo” thread.

I just bought this lens last week (Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 EX DC HSM) from Warehouseexpress (£379.00).
I'm really just a beginner to all this photography malarky but here are 3 shots I took with my 400D and the 10-20 this evening down at Linlithgow Loch:
ISO 100, f/5.6 for 1/500sec @ 10mm.

ISO 100, f8 for 1/125sec @ 17mm

ISO 100, f5.6 for 1/20sec @ 20mm

All 3 have been slightly altered in PS - Levels, slight colour curve. Not huge amounts though

I got one of the first batch , luckily a good one (I think!).
The f4-5.6 one is still for sale, the f3.5 is nwe and a touch more money, not reviewed, seems from the MTF a touch worse than the old one BUT thats at a faster aperture, I htink it'll be as good or better at any coresponding aperture - it has more exotic elements too.
Only downside is it does tend to flare a lot, sometimes good , sometimes bad, and typical of UWA's anyhow. CA is good, distortion is good (avoidable or very usable) mine isnt sharp in the corners wide open but fine at f8 where its mostly used.
