Hi, I have a couple of old spools of film at home, and I mean old. My Dad took the photos and he sadly died in 1973. The spools are still in the little sealed tubs.

Is there anyone who could get an image from them or do you think they are all wasted ?

You should be able to get something off them. Are they colour or black and white? For old colour processes and rescuing film generally, I found a firm called Process C-22. Not used them myself yet, but have a few old 110 cartridges that I've been meaning to send them.

Odd link - sometimes it doesn't work.

Are the films exposed? If there's a 'tongue' of film sticking out it's very unlikely they've been exposed.

What does it say on them?

I found a roll of exposed Ilford FP4 in a drawer at home a few years ago, which I estimated to be 30 years old.
Considering the environment it was 'stored' in, the resulting images weren't too bad
