Decent clippy/clampy/suctiony tripod type thing

The season of the owner's club meet is upon us and with it the obligatory one-marque convoy up the motorway to the venue. To wit I am looking for a suitable camera holder which can be affixed to the door/dashboard in order to facilitate car-to-car video capture/still photography.

The payload isn't exactly weighty (a Panasonic LX3) so I don't need anything too industrial (my old Pentax LX, with motor-drive and 35-70mm lens would have required scaffolding).

Does anyone have any recommendations?

If I recall correctly I got mine from Maplins and it was about 10 quid. Takes a video camera no problem so should be fine for what you want one for.
