May 09 Competition - Winners!!!
Discussion
So judgment day is here, tough one to call as there are lots of good entries in here. Nethertheless a decision is to be made,
In typical reverse style here are these months’ winners;
-So in third place the bronze ribbon goes to rhubarb with the steaming light's in 'Hong Kong'. Great job there! Always been a fan of light streams but this one stands out in particular through the alternate angle and amazing scenery. But you have managed to capture all your reds, whites, blues blacks and yellows together in this great shot. Good job.

-In second goes the silver ribbon to steve_amv8 with 'Train Station'. Again great job, in this shot you have captured a reel sense of 'old and classical' kind of reminds me of sleepy hollow. However good job. Dark and eerie in the sky with the train in motion & overhead light bringing your attention to the fashionably dressed conductor. I like it.

-Finally the gold ribbon for this month goes to 4hero with 'Many Lights'. Brilliant, when I chose light as a topic you really took it as just that. I though this piece does it justice, although very one color orientated I thought it was great. Managed to capture flares, light & dark tones, but the picture just feels right! What more can I say, good job!

Such a tough choice this month, well done to everyone else. A few I would be rude not to mention;
stigmundfreud excellent piece, well shot, well done. really enjoyed this one great contrasting tones in a nice location.

Funk Odyssey, that is a nice shot of the city you have there, you have made a not so appealing place look very nice indeed.

paul911, this is a great rig shot, like an explosion of color all over the canvass!

& baz7175, love the light stick! Sure I have seen this one before, great shot.

Such a good choice of photos made it so difficult to decide on rankings, I just like to thank everyone for there efforts & talent contributed this month. To the winners, well done you done a good job.

Did I miss something though, as its only the 31st?
I think the OP got a bit excited and couldn't wait until tomorrow....Let's hope nobody has been out today and plans to post before midnight

Hey sorry guys, I never realised you wanted me to post up at midnight. Would have ended up sometime late Monday due to work, hence why I put this in on the last day as the online posting guidelines states it runs till the last day (no time specifically).
I really did not know & though it would not be an issue.
But if you think you have better by all means do share
I still think that 1st place would have stuck.

I won? Huh? Did I really win?

What happens now, I've never won before?
Excellent entries all (as usual), thanks!!!
edited to say, just read the competition rules, will post up shortly!
Remember you're not allowed to pick yourself, so there's no point having a macro theme just to win again
