Hi, I am looking at getting one of these lenses & wondered if anyone on here had one or any experiences with them & how they find them.
I used the canon 100-400L recently & it was great but with the recent price hikes it's out of my price range.

From what I've seen the 120-400os is pretty consumer and average especialy at the longer end.

The 150-500os is poorer than the old 50-500 at the long end.

Neither hold a candle to the 100-400L.

I have just been in the same situation as you wanting the 100-400L but could not quite justify the extra expense over the siggy 120-400. I got my 120-400 delivered last week and so have only had a little play but from first play I am extremely impressed. The IS takes a bit of getting used to as it makes a low buzz when it starts off (apparently they all do this) but really works well. It can't really be compared to the 100-400L because it is half the price and I think it is super value for money. I'd recommend one definitely.

Not the most interesting photos here but I just went down to the local duck pond to have 15 mins of playing with my new toy. They will at least give you an idea.
