Bottom one.

The DOF on the top is a bit more 'bling' but for me the lower image worked better overall.

2 for me.

Now you need some more slogans for the other sweets, but space is a bit small.

cheers people.

Simpo: I'm doing individual ones at the mo. might out them all together but it's really tricky to do if the sweets are on an angle. so they would have to be flat, next to eachother. bit boring?

Could you not do a mixture of the two? So that the sweets were all of a similar size like in 2, but that the background ones includes slogans, but were out of focus (a bit like spot colour, but spot focus on the sweet of interest!) - not sure if it would work, but might be worth a try?

cheers alex

I know what you're getting at but i don't want to make it look photoshopped, knocking things out of of focus that sit on the same plane might look a bit obvious.

Yep. I don't know how you're doing the letters but if it's a layer in PS how about Edit > Transform > Rotate?

yeah thats simple enough, just gets trick when the surface of the sweet is not perpendicular(right word?-@90deg) to the lens.

OK, Edit > Transform > Perspective, and gradient blur if required for DOF purposes smile
