I know they're not technically great photos, but I quite like these:

They appear to be out of focus, apart from the first.

They do seem a little soft, maybe the compression when reducing the size? Nice set though, 3rd and 4th for me!

They are a little soft focus, but can be helped a lot with a good sharpening...

Nice images.

That's possibly the reduction - they've been reduced once by me to upload and then shrunk significantly further by Facebook where they're hosted.

I am, admittedly, not the most technically profficient person with a camera. I just thought the subjects worked quite well.

I know it's a cheap trick, but my favourite was the limited DOF on the top one. Just thought the Atlantique fitted in quite well with the background. smile

IMO that's where it falls down.. the background is a rabble of people and the guy in the orange is a real distraction. Had it been just the house then yes, a good background.

Edited to say, if you'd dropped the shooting angle down and photographed upwards, you'd have had just the house as background, and the car would have hidden the people.

I just thought the people milling round and the waiter kind of fitted in with the 'society' image of the Bug. I'm possibly reading a bit too much into it there...
