Hi guys,

I've just got myself a new car. smile

Whilst I'm quite happy with this pic, I was wondering if anyone could have a go at touching it up for me, and possibly removing some of the distractions? Like the signs, and the light in the top corner.

I'd be really grateful as I have no ability with photoshop what so ever. frown

Regards,

James.

Would have been quicker and easier to have moved the car forward.

There was a bus shelter in the way further forward. frown

I like the light in the corner, but recommend you get closer to the car next time. smile

Quite a nice shot, was a mobile phone used to take it though?

Here's my effort.

No, it was a Sony digital camera, just a point and shoot job.

However, just after I took this one, I remembered it had a low light pre-setting. rolleyes

The others I took are much crisper, but this one's composition / angle was the best, just a shame its not the greatest quality to work with. frown

Thanks to everyone who has had a go so far - much better efforts than I could ever manage. Thanks. smile

Edits look good.

If you return here, how about moving the car further back and adding a compositional tilt (perhaps 30 deg clockwise) so the arch points into the top right corner?

Had a quick go - didn't spend too much time as I'm at work - hence not removing signs etc.

To be honest even the original wasn't high enough resolution to be making those kinds of changes, let alone a bit of sharpening.

I'm not far from the bridge, I'll head back tonight and see if I can get another pic using the low light setting, I've also just found a mini tripod which should help to steady the shot too.

I'll report back later with the results. smile

I drive past there every day on my way to work. Took some of the Tyne Bridge the other morning from the other end with it all lit up.

Of course he took this with a point and shoot - If it was taken with a DSLR he would have had to post this from his prison cell.
