Hello still a noob here but want a little advice on what my next lens should be.
I went to take a few photos of a supermoto track day today and really struggled with my current lens.
Im currently using a canon 350d and a sigma 24-70mm f3.5-5.6 which i bought for about 70 quid off ebay to get me started. I now realise there wasn't enough zoom to get me close enough to the action and had crop quite a bit off the pictures which left them too fuzzy. What lens would you guys suggest for this kind of photography i have a budget of about £400. Here are a few shots from today, also the weather didn't help it was quite dull and overcast.

Unless low light is an issue, I'd suggest a 70-300mm, which should be well within your budget.

The canon 55-250 IS is one of the best value for money canon lenses you can buy at about £200.

Alternatively the 70-200 F4L is faster and would be better for motorsport due to better autofocus but is £500.

Thanks gold, the canon 55-250 IS looks like it might be worth considering due to its price, I have just been looking at sample shots with that lens and it seems quite impressive.
