No more than a couple of hours I should think. Possibly not even that long.

As the work appears to have been done... the Simpo brain does some reverse engineering... let me guess - somebody charged you for the work and you think it was too much? Am I close? wink

No idea how much has been charged to be honest. I was just intrested in how long the process would take. My dad got 500+ slides scanned as an Xmas present. He has a lot more slides he wants doing + loads of negatives. Most need colour correction and despeckleing but some need lots of repair. They are from the 1950's and 60's.

OK, well I've never done a repair as bad as that but I'd say 1-2 hours.

Wouldn't have taken too long, whoever did it has been very crafty and made the sky very 'blown' so they wouldn't have had to do anything to it, the snow has also been brightened up to hide any flaws , other than that is just a case of re doing the wooden 'thing' and the rock. Easier than it looks really but has given a nice result. I would love to do this as a side line to my day job.

This took me about 5 mins. The rest would take about another 10 mins, but I think the other photo has gone too far.

edited: just realise I missed some scratch at the bottom. Oops.
