Hi all, I'm looking for a replacement for my Canon MP600 which is not feeding paper through properly and leaving white lines down the page. I have tried everything that I can find on the internet and nothing is fixing it.

I need a printer for normal 6x4 prints but would prefer the ability to do A4 as well. Wireless would be nice but not essential. I know it is a bit vague.

Any recommendations?

I use a canon iP4500

Very nice prints. Only ever had one bad one but it worked out to be the paper.

To be honest its probably cheaper to send off, but I like to see the results instantly.

Many of us here use Epson Stylus Photo printers.

I love 'em.... the only ones I've used in 25 years that haven't driven me potty by stopping working for no reason whatsoever.

Sadly, I would seem to be the exception to prove your rule. Mine was utter junk. My HP, though, is great.

+1 very happy with mine. Would have liked network connectivity but can live without it.

HP Photosmart C5280 here. I copied four 6x4 prints once and they came out better than the originals! It also scans, photocopies AND prints directly onto disks. Stonking value at just £70 on Amazon.

Just taken my MP600 apart (they don't make it easy...) and given it a good clean. Seems like there was a bit of a jam under a roller which you couldn't see unless you took about 10 screws out... Printing as good as ever.

Thanks for the replies though.
