Posting pictures from Picasa Web Albums

I tried to do a search but it's closed for 'maintainace'.

I've just started using picasa web albums instead of photobucket because of its one click upload and sync function with picasa 3. I've just tried to link a photo to the forum and the code picasa give don't work in either [pic] or [img] brackets. What am I doing wrong?

The link is in this format:-

http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/lh/photo/L-1kK_GNL4L...

[cirks]

might not be the easiest way but once you've uploaded, view your piccie via the Picasa gallery, right click on it and copy the properties for the file (which is what the real URL is)
ie: for your example, the URL is (not all displays here):
http://lh3.ggpht.com/_czpmg3Q_8ZM/SXi_iXfJlXI/AAAA...

so, once enclosed in the [pic] and [/pic] tags, you get,
