Evening Chaps

Anyone been to a workshop evening.

I enquired with a studio about a 5 minute walk from me as workshop evenings were advertised.

I was told they were £20 for three, 45 minute individual workshops. Reading that back, it seems cheap. I hope he didn't mean £20 each.

Would these be worth a crack or would I be better just going walkabouts?

Thoughts chaps...

I'd give it a go. I do reckon they're actually £20 each. I used to pay close to that years ago. You're only risking 20 quid if you go to one and if they know what they're doing you'll learn a lot more about lighting and practical use of the studio than just by reading books plus you get to meet other like minded people.

You are pretty much bound to learn something, maybe a little, possibly a lot!

P.S. where are they located? Are they in the Essex / East London area?

Do you actually aspire to being a studio photographer?

I have only just got a proper DSLR and it seems latey I prefer to take people pictures.

Landscapes around here are a bit null and void which doesn't give me much confidence.

Its not just studio work, he explained the workshops explain composition for all types of photogray not just studio work.
