Hi all.

Don't normally post in here, but thought I might try to see if you can help.

I have a sony DSC-W130 digital camera which I and the O/H have been using over christmas. I woke up this morning to find that all the photo's taken since Christmas eve have dissapeared, and have absolutely no idea why, or where they may have gone. I have tried looking to see if they have been transferred to a seperate folder, but they don't seem to have.......

Does anyone have ideas?

Thanks all,

Finkers

I don't know much about it myself but there was a topic recently on some "lost" wedding photos that had disappeared from the memory card. There were lots of good suggestions on retriving lost data in there if you can find it on in the search. It was in this forum in the last month or so. smile

Disappeared from where? The camera's memory card, your computer's hard drive or somewhere else?

You can recover files from a formatted card using a freeware program called ZAR - stands for Zero Assumption Recovery.

The software will do hard drives - buy you need to purchase, but camera cards can be recovered with the free trial version which is not time limited - a good marketing exercise.
