Will likely contact Wembley Stadium themselves for written confirmation but does anyone have any personal experience of gaining entry with a DSLR ?

I've heard mixed opinions on whether I'll be able to get in with my DSLR.

Thanks
Matt

.. just had a look on Wembley Stadium website. Listed under prohibited items:

Professional cameras & recording devices (This applies to cameras that have interchangeable lenses)

I went to England vs. Kazakhstan there recently and took my P&S as I was worried about getting in with a DSLR. Only to find the chap next to me with a Canon with a huge lens on it.

Made this mistake when I went to a concert of a performer I'd wanted to see for years.

Rang up the venue in advance and was told no cameras, at all. Same as someone else said, I sat down on the night and the bloke 3 seats down pulled out his SLR

If you make it obvious then they're bound to say no
