Hello all...

I have a two year-old - used once - video cam.

Can leaving it on top of the telly affect its operation?

It was left charging on top of the tv set (oh, and the lens cap got left off - so the lens was facing a white wall??) Result is, now, no picture at all. Records sound, but cannot see anything through the viewfinders...

Any suggestions??

Not a JVC is it ?

There was a problem with JVC sensors packing up after a while which resulted in a free repair by JVC.

Yes, it is a JVC; model GR-DX28EK

Weird thing is, I connected the charger and checked the cam for opertaion; it was fine. Left it on charge overnight and now it has this problem. Have had the thing for approx 2-years, but only ever used it once for about an hour in that time.
