Hi,

I wonder if the more talented PS people on here could help me please?

Last Thursday afternoon I lost my younger brother to Cancer (only 29 cry ) ,and we have been rushing round sorting things out for the funeral on Weds.

After much sorting of old photos, I have used Photobox to design three large collages of various pics of my brother over the years. His wife would like them on display at the reception afterwards.

I am sh*tting myself that they are not going to be with me by Weds am!,. have paid extra for Special Delivery etc. I intend to phone them tomorrow morning to explain the situation to see if they can possibly speed things up .

As a backup plan, through a friend of a friend who has a sideline doing canvas' etc, I wondered if I can do similar collages in PS?? and have this guy run off the posters,. I've done a quick Google and not found anything similar to the Photobox ones.

Any help would be fantastic!!

Cheers

Jon

Sorry to hear your news.

What do you mean by "collage"? Are you looking for the images to be blended into each other? Or more of a grid-type layout into which you can insert pictures of various sizes?

Photobox are usually pretty quick, and have good customer service. However, if you need a backup plan I could have a look at it for you - feel free to PM me.

Guys,. thanks for your replies,. I have been able to knock up something myself in the end, just set my overall image size to what I wanted, then pasted each image in as a new layer. After a bit of jiggling about they look fine.

Spoke to a guy at Photobox this morning, explained the situation and they can have them out the door within a couple of hours!

I am still having this other guy print my attempts off though as I would like them to keep afterwards for myself.
