Righto - Keep it to a single picture. It's hard I know but single pictures is what I'm looking for.

Not amazing, not outstanding, not technically perfect and not one that others enjoy most but the picture that you have taken yourself that you think is your best picture to-date. You can update it if this thread extends past page one.

A friends son who came round for some impromptu photographs.

Compression does nothing to it.

I guess this would have been the more appropriate thread to post the b&w Abbeyhill street one in, rather than "amazing photos". I won't post it again, I'm sure you're all sick of it tongue out

that's why I started this thread - it may not be an "amazing" photograph but it still is a lovely image.

I'll post it for you since you're shy smile

Dibble and Mrs Dibble on honeymoon, Heron Island, Great Barrier Reef, 2005. Sony P&S, taken by me, which is why (a) my big fat arm is bigger and fatter than usual, and (b) the sea is flowing downhill, right to left.

Some nice pics on here, mine would be this one. Shame the scan (yes it was shot on film!!) doesn't do it justice

Finally got around to having that pic printed and framed. It was actually a colour slide and the guys at the lab did a better job of making it B&W than I did. Decided to lose the artificial border too, but I might trim the mount slightly as the print was done with black as the background and left with a cm each vertical side.
