Hello all,

This month's subject is "Dirt".

Perhaps a grubby street, a filthy rally car or anything else you please.

Multiple photos and discussion in this thread, entries in the other one.

Have fun!

I'd like to use this one if I can, it has been edited in photoshop a little bit though, can I use it or is it not valid?

This was VERY dirty (It's me driving and MUCH harder than you think - especially when you are crying with laughter)

Yes, editing is allowed - and while you don't have to it's good/interesting to let people know how much you've done to it. Good stuff!

Its croped then I reduced the saturation to almost zero. After that I altered the hue so the colour of the car stood out abit more. I also used a gradient to make a simple vignette (sp?)

This picture may not be technically brilliant, but would it be ok for my first entry into this competition? Does this count as dirt? smile

My first entry, unfortunately taken a few years back by someone else (I was driving) with a basic camera, so technically not very good, but captures the theme I think.

It certainly captures the theme but I'm afraid you need to have taken the photo yourself! That looks fun, anyway.....
