hi all,
One of the maintainance guys found this sewing box was in the grounds of the victorian mill my studio is in. There are loads of old terraces that back onto the plot and we think someone just dumped it. I saw it in his office and 'borrowed' it about a year ago. I always meant to photograph it and i finally got off my arse this afternoon
what do we think?
honest c&c very welcome, good and bad.

Before I disappear off down a tunnel of my own - surely every home had those boxes 30-40-50 years ago?
Great shots - I like the project.

Depth of field is surely only "bad" if something that is intended to be in focus is out, and otherwise has no quality of "good" - it's either shallow or deep.
But colloquially, it seems that the proletariat believe something with shallow dof is great depth of field.
Am I mad? Or are they?

I'm doing a course at the moment and everyone is annoying the hell out of me by describing shallow depth of field as "GOOD depth of field" all the time.
