Canon Ixus 40 Replacement
Discussion
Currently have the above mentioned Point&Click camera which has served me well. After a replacement.
The Panasonic Lumix TX5 looks compelling but I'd prefer something as slim as the Ixus range. I'd also like it to offer good video performance with the ability to allow use of the zoom whilst filming similar to the Panasonic.
So, what I am after within a budget of £200 is a slim, fast, reasonable photo quality, zoomable video, and half decent battery life.
Any recommendations?

I'd stay with the ixus as well mate - I've had 5
Sounds like a disincentive to me!I think the first two were chopped in for better models but the other three are still in use and going well. I gave one to my Mum, another to my Sister and when the office needed a camera, they got my last one for a good price and I upgraded again.
Brilliant cameras.
