Definition of frustration

New D300 arrived yesterday. It uses compact flash cards. I've ordered three decent ones from 7dayshop, but they still haven't arrived (ordered Friday). Only have SD cards at the mo, and one really old 8MB card!

So this evening I sahll be mostly taking one (or possibly two?) picture at a time with my fancy new camera on an 8MB card!

Good point! By the time I've done that the cards could have been delivered from neptune. By Parcel Force.

Parcel Farce only go as far as Mars. They've yet to find this place.

The first time I read this, I thought "What's his problem? 8Gb is plenty!" Then I read it again carefully. How quickly we move on - I'll sell you a 128Mb card for the £50 I paid for it 5 years ago

Why not learn how to shoot directly to the computer?

Well I just tried it. Formatted in camera, and it still said full. Won't even take one image at full res jpeg-fine! One at "norm", two at "basic". Took about 15s to write one single norm jpeg to the card!
