Silverstone bike engined car race series
Discussion
A couple from today.
Feel like Ive lost my way a bit with my Nikon, primarily from not having the time to use it.
Made a conscious effort to try and take sharp focused pics today.Changed from centre weighted AF to dynamic, not sure it its made a difference. This lot are better than my action pics from FOS. All straight from the camera.
c&c please chaps...

Great cars of course
and the photos certainly look nice and sharp. One suggestion would be to try to use a slower shutter speed for panning shots so you get the wheels blurred making the cars look like they're flying. I'm certainly no expert but at the Silverstone Classic recently I managed to get a few I was happy with:

That's at 1/200 sec; I took a few with a faster shutter speed and they looked rubbish in comparison, or much slower and I struggled to keep the car sharp. Sounds like a good excuse for more practise!
