Cashback deal back on the EOS 40D

[LukeBird]

Just seen this from the place I've ordered mine from.
Tomorrow through to 21/9 there is £60 cashback on the 40D.
A shame it isn't the old cashback deal that my dad got when he bought his!
Oh and I ordered mine late this evening, here's hoping they bill it tomorrow!

[4hero]

nice, it's a cracking camera, love mine

[LukeBird]

I just bloody hope they bill it tomorrow, it'll be a pain in the arse if I miss out on the cash back deal having ordered last thing this evening before the place shut and the deal starts tomorrow!!

Congrats on the purchase! I got mine with a €150 cashback deal which was top notch this past June.

Now it's time to start building up you L collection!

[LukeBird]

Thanks!
I doubt mine will be invoiced today, so I'm going to miss out on the cashback by a matter of hours!
I'm not too bothered though, I still think I managed to get a great deal, even if the lens that is coming with it is crap!
I just need to work out what lenses I want to buy!

[LukeBird]

Extra bonus, just spoke to the supplier and the invoice is dated as of today, so I will get an extra £60 off!
£537.55 for the EOS 40D, Canon 10Eg bag, 2Gb CF card and an 18-55mm (there is a reason for buying it, honest!) lens!

My wife is looking at getting one of these - where did you find it at this price?

[LukeBird]

A J Purdy.
Delivery was very prompt and all their stock is UK, so no warranty issues whatsoever!
Very, impressed!
