Bo'ness held it's first hillclimb in over 30 years yesterday at Kinneil Estate, and an excellent day it was (if not a bit wet). My 8 year old nephew came along with me, and not once did he say "I'm bored" eek

Anyhow, here's a few shots.

My nephew explaining to me how to take a proper photograph, he only shoots in RAW on full manual hehe

It was a very wet day.

LOL car

I'm sure it was this that had the quickest time of the day

Lovely DB5 (well, I think it's a DB5)

My car in the car park, getting parked was great fun driving

Not the best shots in the world, it was pissing down most of the day and the 100-400 was way to much for Bo'ness. It's a good excuse to pop out and get a 70-200 f2.8 though biggrin There's some more on my flickr if you fancy a look.

Cheers,

Neil.

Very nice pics, Neil. I like the photo of the Elan being recovered. You can just imagine the driver thinking, "Put that bloody camera down and come and give us a push". biglaugh

The Aston looks like a DB4 to me. Beautiful thing. cool

I've spent the year to date driving hillclimbs and sprints almost every weekend, very satisfying and also very tiring schedule, took a break from the last couple of events and made it to the hillclimb at Boness today briefly . . . a couple of pics . . .

I think they are PH squished . . .

Based on what I've heard (and a number of friends have experienced) about SMRC and some of the games they play . . . no bl00dy wonder they are going to other types of events . . .

Smart people vote with their feet, and sheep just keep on following, like, well, sheep . . .

Cheers ;-)

well what a cracking little hill, shame that is was so wet on Saturday - but then again for those of us who were running a solid rear axle it did mean you could drive like a hooligan biggrin

I don't suppose any one got a picture of 57 - our ex Stan Coldham 1948 Cooper going through the courtyard?
