Which PC Video editing software approx. £100
Discussion
Hi,
What video editing software would you recommend for about £100?
I want ease of use, to be able to zoom the image and add effects to try and get a Top Gear stylee look! I will be using a combination of video formats and I want to be able to overlay different audio tracks.
I've downloaded a trial of Adobe Elements 4.0 and whilst it seems OK, it doesn't really feel that intuitive to use. I have used an old version of Pinnacle Studio years ago and thought it had a great interface, but they don't do a trial of the newer versions, 12 being the latest.
Are there any others I should consider?
Cheers.

You have Windows Movie Maker on your PC (unless you are on a Mac) - it's easy to use and will do 90% of the fancy stuff.

Cheers!
Window Movie Maker - I had it all along on both of my Vista Home Premium PCs and I never realised!!!
I've been using it today to edit together some Wedding footage I did the other week and it's come out very well! It's very intuitive to use - never needed to look at the help files!
Only problem I had was with titles missing full or half letter off the end and some transitions wouldn't work without going mad and jerky!
I solved the former by pushing the text onto the next line, I got around the latter by not using some of the transitions. It is rather frustrating, but not bad for free.
Thanks again - this should do to get me back into it without having to spend any extra money as I've already spent a fortune on cameras, mounts etc.
