Since everyone is always on about moving there, yes you really do find picturesque scenes like this one. Canoing in deep lakes at the foot of mountains like these is surreal, the wild life varied, its "TOTALLY AWESOME MAN"

Their range of coffee is non existent, but through decades of trials was perfected.

You'd have to be a big Canada/TH or Business-Growth fan to buy it, but this is an excellent read, 100 times better than Ray Crocks crock of shyte McDonalds book (arrogant MacTosspot!)

Ooooh, dunno about that pic, they're all the same! biggrin
In one day, we saw beaver dams, snakes, bears (50 feet away eek) racoons, chipmonks, a skunk(!) and a whole host of other things. Not all in the lake, obviously...

I spent 6 months of my gap year in Banff, AB. Loved it!

I'd love to move to Ontario. The town of Barrie would suit me fine. I can dream...

I'm definitely going back one summer - I saw no bear (still hibernating), one live moose (+ 32 dead ones alongside the train tracks), one pack of coyote, a mountain ram and a bunch of eagles.

(-15 in Toronto and Montreal's biggest snowdump in 10 years while wearing a kilt was interesting as well)

Following the other thread, with your British accent you'd get laid in no time!

I'm pretty damn sure that's Lake Morraine (SP). I took a really crappy photo, on a cheap throw away camera, of my missus at a slightly different angle a few years ago:

I was in Van, Whis and Squamish for a couple of weeks only a few weeks ago, and came back in love with the place.

Add in that I have a Canadian passport, and I don't know why I'm still here...
