Digital Camera - What Cam?

[Wattsie]

Hi all,

I'm in need of a new camera for a birthday present and, frankly, there's no where better than PH to turn

Can I hear some suggestions of cameras under the following criteria;

• 8 or more megapixel
• Fast shutter speed (Assuming shutter speed is the factor which stops it from waiting an hour between pressing the button and taking a photo)
• Durable - Quite important
• Optical Zoom
• Good Battery life

Thanks in advance.

• ETA - Sorry, budget of £120 to £150... perhaps as high as £200 for a seriously good cam...

Thanks for that Spydie

Pana Lumix DMC-FX35 seems to be perfect.

Like I said - PH really is the best place to turn!

Shutter lag or delay You can often overcome this by semi-depressing the button first.
